Why we exist
Powerful tools shouldn't be a privilege.
So we asked ourselves: why not us?
We believe in freedom through technology — and that the tools for hacking, automation and learning shouldn't belong only to a well-funded few.
Makers in other countries grew up with rich hardware ecosystems built for tinkerers. In India, most of us started with imported gear that was bulky, overpriced, or never designed with us in mind. A device that sells for a modest price abroad can land at ₹10,000–₹40,000 on an Indian marketplace — out of reach for the very students and enthusiasts who want it most.
That question — why not us? — is where Karvi Labs began. We build affordable, usable, Indian-made hardware for a new generation of security researchers, makers and engineers.

Our story
It started in 2024.
Karvi Labs started with one founder and one problem. Amir had spent years in software and embedded systems engineering, and kept running into the same wall: the tools Indian makers and security learners actually wanted were bulky, overpriced, or never built here at all.
He wasn't interested in complaining about it. He had the software and firmware skills to build the whole stack, and a clear idea of how a proper tool should feel — so he set out to design one himself and solve the problem for good.
Sunil, a hardware designer who always wanted to build things that stood out, brought the board to life alongside him. There were no Flipper-class devices made in India, and importing them was slow and expensive — so they stopped waiting.
And so, Karvi Labs was born.
